Fender settled on the Kingman bass design after taking notes from their iconic electric guitar designs. Part of the California Player series, the Kingman rules the land and sea of the West Coast, evoking a sense of adventure and freedom. To elicit these charming tones, the Kingman bass features a solid spruce top and sapele back and sides for full, rich, articulate tone. The nato Jazz Bass neck is cut to a slim “C” shape and the walnut fingerboard ends in a manageable 30-inch scale. Then, you can step into the electric realm thanks to an equipped Fishman Presys pickup/preamp system.
